About
Daniel
Daniel Dotse is an accomplished individual serving as the Co-founder and CEO of Lead For Ghana (LFG). Prior to his involvement with LFG, Daniel gained valuable experience as a biotechnologist at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Inc. in New York. However, his journey began with a strong academic foundation in biomedical engineering at Cornell University, where he developed a deep interest in nanotechnology.
Daniel's educational pursuits at Cornell were made possible by the esteemed Lester B. Knight Scholarship, which recognizes outstanding students with a passion for engineering and business. This scholarship not only provided financial support for his studies but also had a profound impact on his life. Inspired by the doors it opened for him, Daniel felt compelled to make a positive impact on others.
Motivated by the stark contrast between his higher education experience and the limited resources in Ghanaian classrooms, Daniel took action. He established a remarkable library in Ghana, capable of holding up to 30,000 books. This initiative aimed to bridge the educational gap and provide opportunities for Ghanaian students who often lacked basic resources like chairs and books during their formative years.
It is this stark contrast and his unwavering belief in the power of education that drives Daniel's work at Lead For Ghana. Through LFG, he aspires to contribute to the creation of a nation where every child, regardless of their socioeconomic background, has equal access to an excellent education.
